one of our initiatives which was set rolling in 2017 continues to encourage and enthuse students from various educational institutions. The event has participation of students representing their institutions in huge numbers as performers on stage and as spectators to cheer up their favorites every evening during the fair. This event is guided by a group of eminent scholars from various educational institutions, writers, thinkers and industrialists. The popularity of the programs has motivated us to continue with more vigor.

Which has the involvement of noted writers, industrialists and other Litterateurs and has received accolades from various stalwarts for its attempt to restore Tamil Literature.

A cash reward of Rs. 1 Lakh for a writer, constituted in the year 2016, has been conferred on 5 noted writers so far.

Thozhilagam Dhorum Noolagam (meaning a Library in every Industry) For the third year in a row, CBF 2023 continues with the initiative to promote reading habit amongst the employees in our industries. This involves setting up of libraries in the industries by the companies for their staff. CBF 2024 also offers a platform to expose the hidden talent in employees of various companies in the form of several contests over the fair period.

This is a new initiative to encourage young writers. CODISSIA will be rewarding young writers under 3 different categories namely Poetry, Fiction and Non - Fiction. A panel has been set up to select the award winners, towards which we have called for writings from the young writers up to the age of 40.
